Isto é um teste como deve ser, com quase todas as suspensoes do mercado, testadas por diferentes riders, todos de alto nivel, de diferentes estilos e backgrounds, e espremidas a fundo nos mesmos trilhos e com os mesmos critérios de avaliação. Alem disso foram montadas no mesmo quadro.

Infelizmente não falo alemão e o tradutor do google parece que tambem não, porque acho que eu atirando palavras à sorte conseguia melhor resultado final. Seja como for, dá para ficar com uma boa ideia do que o mercado tem para oferecer, fica a faltar apenas a nova Marzo, mas ainda não estava disponivel nas datas do teste.

SR Suntour Auron RC2
SR Suntour has the Auron cheap fork with a quite decent weight in the program. The current street price of Auron RC2 amounts to 499 euros - a fair price for beginners and advanced users who are looking for a budget a good enduro fork. Unfortunately, there are at Auron serious weaknesses in the rebound to complain: here is no longer the fork on the state of the art, which makes them less interesting for speedy up fast drivers. There are now forks at the same price that perform much better job. The X-Fusion could not keep up with the strong competition in terms of driving performance. In contrast, the MSRP is well below that of competitors - just as well as the weight. In the first article of our enduro fork test series we elucidated as to what requirements was based on our review. In addition, we found out that there was no intention to choose a winner. Currently, the BOS Deville is still running in a long-term test and has not small added as the first version that we had in this finale. Nevertheless, the defect spoils the overall impression of the fork and I have long wondered who I would assign the first place of the forks tested. In the end, for me personally, the BOS is the ideal fork in the 160-mm-sector. It impresses with extremely good damping properties and provides, even in an enduro bike in terrain where you almost prefer to be out with a downhill bike, enormous security. Because it is so high in the travel and provides a fast, controlled recovery of Hard Knocks episodes, the steering angle remains flat and you can even choose the coarsest lines, without coming out of your comfort zone.

The Pike bribed by a rock solid tuning. Although she can not quite as simple as the BOS be matched from the outside on the wide range and is not quite as race-heavy, but already an additional Volumenspacer in the air chamber brings heavy drivers or generally in heavy terrain, a massive improvement on the characteristic. In addition, the Pike was pretty unimpressed even after several mud packs and continued to speak well of. 3rd place is hard to define, as I unfortunately could not be there during the posttest Mattoc and for me personally the gap in the performance of place 2 to 3 is quite large. Although my basic setup like not complete and especially the weakness in the rebound (lack of recovery from fast shock episodes without getting nervous) brought me in some passages faster out of my comfort zone with Deville and Pike. The outlook for the newly introduced "Custom Tuning" and the experience I already with this system could do with the RAD 34 would entice me at a 34 to be retrofitted this feature.

For me, the Pike is the clear winner in enduro forks. It combines a performance that is both suitable for racing, but also makes the everyday enduro riders happy. Since the configuration options for the Pike are manageable and easy to understand, is probably everyone quickly bring an appropriate setup about. Thanks to the Luftkammerspacer the spring characteristic can be adapted to any simplistic style of driving / driver weight. The low weight and the excellent price-performance rounded off the victory of the Pike for me.

Although the BOS unquestionably has the satteste damping and late coming to their limits, they would not be the first choice for me. The fork is designed from start to finish to racing or a very high driving as well as a technology level and less for everyday use. Fox has with the 34 fork with a solid performance in the program. The fork is also the Pike easily and intuitively tune like. No question, the Manitou is my favorite of the current enduro forks. The fork followed the ground like no other and thus generated optimum traction - for me the most important feature a suspension fork. In addition, the Mattoc was comfortable and gave me a lot of security. Thanks to the many, even if not yet fully mature configuration options, the Manitou can adapt to virtually any terrain. But given the low price and low weight, the Mattoc is twice as good.

Not quite as good as the Mattoc, but very close, I felt the Formula ThirtyFive. The Formula was especially good at it, to follow the ground quickly and quietly - thanks to this is the good rebound. Although only the low-speed compression can be set in the Formula, the fork shows even at hard pace no weaknesses, and stands high in the suspension travel - that conveys security and invites you to give a neat gas. A true enduro fork up.

The Pike achieved in all respects a good average and therefore lined up for me on a three position. Although I felt the power of the Pike rebound not as successful as in Mattoc and ThirtyFive, but the Pike quite at a high level, which will provide particular Otto normal enduro bikers completely satisfied. The same is true for the compression stage of the Rock Shox. All in all, however, also mediates the Pike much security, mainly because of the fact that it is so high in the suspension travel. After numerous runs on a variety of routes my favorite reigns there - the BOS Deville could convince me down to the total failure of the first test fork across the board. It is made for what is hidden for me behind the term enduro: single trail surfing with a focus on top speed as well as the idea of ​​"one bike for everything", this includes everyday after work rounds as well as bike park visits for me. The BOS was able to master all of these requirements with flying colors and never made me feel as if I limit the fork in my gait. Thanks to its tight but finely adjusted pressure level and excellent rebound, which allows the front wheel to follow the ground ideal, the Deville for speed-oriented Enduristi is optimal and thus my first choice.

With a double-occupied second place, for me, two models at eye level. Both RockShox 'Pike as well Manitous Mattoc knew how to inspire each had but little weaknesses. A long time I had to consider who has earned 3rd place in my rating: the choice between Fox and Formula made me initially undecided. However, in light of the requirement profile, we designed this test, based on my choice falls ultimately on the Formula. While offering the 34 a very good performance on less hard forest trails, as they are often to be found in German low mountain ranges, but we requested in our test by true-enduro forks what my interpretation after is always associated with high speeds and challenging trails. As the performance got better and better with increasingly harder routes and increasing speed, she has earned 3rd place in my personal rating. Although I dispute now and enduro race, I see myself on the MTB not as a racer. As enduro bikers I would but already described. I love riding in the local forests, where short, but sometimes crisp, often by leaps and heavy trails awaiting me. At the weekend it draws me then but mostly but bike park or on alpine trails. For all these inserts do I access one and the same bike back - for me the definition of Enduro. For this wide variety of uses, the Pike is my first choice. The fork support my active and playful riding style, gives me the best feedback from the ground and is still very comfortable. For large jumps it does not sag off and landings they will not bleed through. Then there is the cheap street price - as I said, first choice.

The ThirtyFive like it for similar reasons as already described in the Pike, but it is not nearly as comfortable as the Rock Shox and must be driven with vigor. If there going gets tough, the formula is satisfied by the wayside. When we look to to their low weight, it quickly becomes clear that the ThirtyFive is a successful race fork. Not quite as race-oriented and not nearly as well suited for the rough, the Fox 34 is this they speak sensitively and handles very comfortable with not so aggressive riding. My Home Trails is a good choice for me and therefore third place.

Xfusion Sweep

In a rather tough competition I could still opt for a winner: The Rock Shox Pike. It offers a great performance, a more reasonable price, no real weaknesses and a simple structure. For this, the service videos from Rock Shox, intuitive operation ... winner. Immediately thereafter follows for me the BOS Deville - the second fork in the test was even a tick better in terms of pure performance - that would be me, the extra cost, the less easy service, the higher weight and the complicated operation but not worth it.

In 3rd place, I see two very different forks at eye level: The Manitou Mattoc scores with good price-performance, good performance, for it has slight weaknesses in pressure stage and axis. The Formula ThirtyFive costs almost double and also has some shortcomings in terms of usability, but works really well if you have made extensive customizations.

O que não faltam são para ai são Mercedez de 150.000€ com problemas de todos os tipos a encostarem à box...

O teu amigo teve obviamente muito azar... As Pikes (tal como outras susp do mercado) muitas vezes vêm sem qualquer óleo, o que com pessoal descuidado pode originar um problema desses.
A Pike é usada e testada por atletas de alta competição e nao domingueiros. Se ganha um teste destes é porque em principio é boa e fiável

Acontece com Pikes, com Devilles e com Fox 34. Só não acontece com as restantes porque ninguém tem.  

Já uma serie das antigas PIKE por vezes iam para baixo e já não voltavam para cima.   

Mas agora a sério, qualquer componente pode sair defeituoso ou com algum problema e não é por isso que TODAS são uma porcaria...

sinceramente acho que igualariam a pike a fox ou a fox ligeiramente melhor(pelo que li)
mas se me perguntares qual comprava agora dizia te a pike , apesar de perferir nao é 400 ou 500 euros melhor

Gostava de ver o teste da fox 36 pois custam mais ou menos 1200 euros ou seja mais do dobro da rockshox.

isso é mentira,pois tal como o pvpde uma fox é 1200 o de uma pike é 900 e tal, simplesmente o preço online da pike em basicamnete todo o lado é de quase 300 ou + mais barato que o pvp, enquanto numa fox( e basicamente todas as outras marcas) vez tipo 100 ou + mais barato

Mesmo com um desconto na Fox 36 (que nunca será muito grande) eu comprei duas Pikes RC por menos do que conseguiria comprar uma Fox ou Bos Deville.
E ainda que a nova Fox 36 ou a Bos Deville sejam um cagagésimo melhores que a Pike (são mesmo??) a diferença de preços é abismal.

para nos como consumidores é bom(pike) porque se torna um preço acessível, mas isto é assim porque se trata de concorrência desleal , primeiro e tanto quanto sei a pike RC so é suspensão de OEM, portanto a nao ser comercializada ao publico, segundo nao respeitam os PVP, depois o consumidor que estiver no mercado para uma suspensão e agora dando um exemplo queres comprar um carro, tem um mercedes por x(199% do preço) e um bmw da mesma gama a (50%) qual é que compras?

Com que então a RockShox é que faz concorrência desleal?!!?!?! Vai-te lá lixar.... ou seja, por essa ordem de ideias todas as suspensões deviam custar mais do que 1000€!!! Dassss.... é que nem era bom!!!

Sabes porque é que as BOS e FOX custam o que custam????? Porque mesmo com preços pornográficos vendem que nem pães de leite! À custa dos fanboys e afins... Isto sim é que é desleal!!! Manter os preços altíssimos só porque o mercado consome e não têm necessidade de baixar.

Como é que me explicas que há uns anos atrás, que houve malta a comprar as primeiras BOS aqui no fórum, compradas no site da BOS, e compravam-nas por 800€ e, atualmente, a mesma suspensão custa para cima de 1000€!!?? Isto sim é ser desleal!!! A tendência das coisas é para baixar os preços, não para subir!!!

Neste aspecto dou imenso valor à ROCKSHOX e tenho pena que não existam mais marcas assim!!!

Têm uma das melhores suspensões e amortecedor do segmento a preços extremamente competitivos e, acima de tudo, acessível aos comuns mortais, como eu!

E isto aplica-se também às marcas de quadros e etc.... tens quadros a custar quase tanto como uma bike completa!!! Isto para mim é que é desleal e dá cabo do mercado, porque não faz os preços descerem, muito pelo contrário, fá-los subir ainda mais. Mas isto já é off-topic.

Concorrência desleal??
Em quê, em ter um produto de boa qualidade a preços razoáveis? Isso não é concorrência desleal, é simplesmente a concorrência a funcionar
Não estamos na antiga URSS ou na Coreia do Norte em que os preços são ditados pelo estado.  

Se a diferença de preços fosse aí de uns 150 ou 200 euros, possivelmente tinha experimentado a nova Fox 36 e a Deville, agora... mais do dobro!!  

E desleal porque nao respeitao o pvp e vendem produtos de oem ao público. Agora se sao caras ou ba4atas isso ja e outra conversa. Obvio que para o consumidor e melhor que compra mais barato . Mas deviam ser todas mais baratas. Nao so uma porque vende a baixo do pvp

Quando a concorrência funciona o preço é feito pelo mercado e foi o que aconteceu com a Pike. Felizmente!
